Akaysha Energy is developing the Deer Park Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) in Ravenhall, in Melbourne’s west. The project will have a capacity of 275MW and provide up to four hours (1,100MWh) of energy storage.
Located close to existing grid infrastructure, Deer Park will support a more reliable and efficient electricity system by storing energy when supply is high and dispatching it back to the grid when demand increases.
